Has anyone got a watch from Olivia Burtons range (they have them in John Lewis as well as on her own website. I love the ones with the bee on the leather strap. But it’s not a make ive heard of and wonder if they wear well and keep accurate time?

I have one and really like it. In terms of keeping time well, it was fine until it ran out of battery. Straps have worn as I would have expected, still looks good a couple of years later.

Hi, I got one a couple of years ago, the watch is lovely, no problem with battery or timekeeping but I’m not impressed with the pale green leather strap, lots of brown leather has come through and replacement straps cost £30 so I would recommend going for a darker strap. Hope that helps.

I was given a rose gold one, (metal strap) it's really lovely!!!!

RustyBear · 18/12/2017 22:12

I have one with a black leather strap, not showing any signs of wear after about a year, and a good timekeeper.

YES I love mine, last years xmas prezzy. Leather strap, rose gold face

WildwestWind · 18/12/2017 22:17

I've got a lovely rose gold one with a pale pink strap which is impossible to clean and looks very grubby. When I asked on John Lewis what to do, they said don't buy a pale strap! Have just got a metal rose gold one as a replacement. Now just need to take it to a jewellers to have it put on.

Thanks everyone. I’m going to get one to replace my broken Fossil one. Will get gold with tan strap I think.

I’ve got the rose gold bee with black leather strap. I love it and get complimented on it often.

davidbyrneswhitesuit · 19/12/2017 07:32

I've got gold with tan strap! I've found the watch really good - the strap is fine, but I've found the tan darkens down more than I've experienced with lots of other tan leather, so it's more brown than tan now. I think it may not be the most robust finish....

Doingthebattybat · 19/12/2017 11:12

They look so lovely and I also love bee motifs so I’m definitely going for it. Wonder why they don’t sort the issue with the ‘unstable’ dye on their leather though. You’d think it wouldn’t be such a difficult thing to resolve. Thanks for your help everyone.

Bumping an old thread (sorry!) to see if anyone else has experience with OB watches. Mine is just under 2 years old and battery has gone for the 3rd time. Confused
I really like the way they look so would like a new one but not confident it won’t do the same again. Anyone else had battery issues?

allwork18 · 13/07/2018 21:13

I have one and really like it. As others have said the straps wear but the watches are great. I have seen them also in JL sale but they seem to be going out of stock really quickly so I would get in there quickly!

Processedpea · 13/07/2018 22:00

I LOVE mine! I have had it about 18 months now and worn it pretty much every day! I have the cream leather strap which is quite grubby now (it was a gift so I didn't choose strap colour) so when I eventually need to replace the strap I will probably go for a tan leather.
