Eyes or Lips

They say you should concentrate on one or t'other so which do you prefer? I have small piggy eyes and wear glasses but full lips so for me its a bright bold lippy. I'm never quite sure what to do with my eyes though, any tips?

I like a bright lipstick, any colour really, then I'll do a bit of a wash of colour on my eyes, if I'm heading for a night on the town then I'll happily do both as generally I'll have more time! I'm not one for rules!

I find if I do both it looks a bit like drag make up, maybe its just me?

I'd accentuate whichever you feel to be your best feature.

...which for you sounds like it's your lips; then perhaps just curl and mascara your eye-lashes.

Lips. I am too lazy to do proper eye makeup, but always wear red lipstick. I use a single nude eyeshadow, curl my eyelashes, then apply two or three coats of mascara. For going out I just add winged eyeliner.

I think red lipstick always makes me feel dressed, even if I don't have much make up on otherwise.

I have deep set eyes and eyeshadow sort of disappears, so I do lips more.

Eyes for me. Eyeshadow, quite thick eyeliner (think I've mentioned my inner goth before), and mascara - quite often LVL lashes. I tend to wear nude or pale pink lippy.

I'd go for eyes because I get loads of compliments on them. However if I'm going out I wouldn't think twice about doing eyes and lips... I like a dramatic look, it suits my personality.

Lips for me as my natural lip colour is corpse-like but I've never found a 'nude' that doesn't make me look aged/ sallow/ dreadful.

When I can’t be bothered with eyeshadow I think some bronzer in the crease and a wing always looks put together
