Retoning blonde balayage

I had a full head of ashy blonde balayage done in October, then a half head at the end of November. Three weeks later it's looking a little too honey/caramel, and I already use pureology platinum shampoo and conditioner, and Touch of Silver shampoo twice a week. I would like to know if I can put toner on it myself, now, to cool it down again rather than waiting three weeks to see the hairdresser again, or does it only work if you apply it straight after the bleach?

This doesn’t exactly answer your question but I’ve found L’Oreal Professional Silver shampoo the best to get rid of the warm tones in my balayaged hair. Helps me drag out hairdresser appointments. I leave it on for 3-4mins.

Add a tiny amount of semi permenant purple hair dye to any white condioner to make your own toner. Add as little or as much purple dye as you wish dependant on how ashy you want to take it.

There's loads of videos on youtube to give you a better idea of the amounts to use.

Thanks DancingHouse I will give that a whirl.
