When to buy cruising shoes

When do people buy cruising shoes? Our LO is 6 months old and is constantly on his feet wanting to walk about with his hands being held. He is also starting to stand on his own holding on to the sofa etc.

Now

The advise us to wait until they have been walking independently for 6 weeks. But if they are wanting to walk outside then get them for just outside now.

Only if you want them to walk outside. Those soft leather ones are fine.

Bare feet are best for indoors but maybe get some for outside.

The op is asking about cruising shoes....are they not just for indoors?

We didn't buy cruising shoes.
Bare feet inside, shoes when able to walk outside.
But then I don't wear shoes or slippers in the house, so didn't really think about it.
