My makeup drawers are all full of crap. Dry or broken or just never used. I need to have a clear out and only buy the essentials.
What can you not live without?
For me it's nivea creme, I put it on every morning and night and it makes my skin feel goegeous

Eve Lom cleansing balm. I know it gets slagged off for being chock full of mineral oil but my 46 year old rosacea -raddled skin bloody loves it. I have used Elemis and Emma Hardie - both which I do like - but they do not compare to Eve Lom. Oh, and the smell: heaven in a pot.

  1. Exercise
  2. The glaucoma eye drops that make your eyelashes grow (bimaprost)
  3. self-tanner
  4. Glycolic acid & microneedling roller

I'm 44 and I stopped wearing foundation entirely because it's so ageing - I wear bronzer instead which evens out my skin tone.

Pixie glow tonic/Alpha H Liquid Gold. Makes my skin as smooth as glass which helps a lot with being confident bare skinned. I prefer the former as the Alpha H is drying but I have loads left to use up.

Maybelline Age Rewind in the pink Neutralizer shade. 8 hours sleep in a tube. Dark circles just vanish. Indispensable if you have small kids!

Coconut oil
Rose water
Coco butter

I'm not a fan of big brands, their products are full of crap and most are animal tested

RubbishMantra · 17/12/2017 16:33

Musem, do you mind me asking me where you buy your bimotoprost from? The prices vary wildly online.

MuseumOfCurry · 17/12/2017 19:13

Not at all, Rubbish. I buy it at Pharmacy Geoff (online).

Red lipstick. Always on the lookout for the 'perfect' red. Still haven't found it, but it's a shade I'm never without.
