Hi everyone....I am close to committing to invisalign braces and have read a thread on here with lots of positives...can anyone who has had them comment on how long their first trays took to arrive from date of moulds being taken? I think I only need about 14 trays which would be about 28 weeks which means I would be finished before my hols in August ....if the trays arrived before the end of January. I am going next Saturday for moulds etc....I know there will be a delay because of Christmas but I believe they are shipped from the US. Looking forward to your replies :)

Mine took about 4 weeks to arrive.

I had a scan rather than moulds but mine took about 10 days to come back. I'm on tray 5/12 now.

How are you finding them?

Just fyi don't get too excited about how quick they tell you it will be. Mine took much longer. Toward the end they do all kinds of minute adjustments by which time I just wanted it to be over (the little bumps they put on my teeth used to catch on my lips and I wanted them gone).

It was great in any case. My overlapping front tooth was tucked in in a matter of weeks (in time for my wedding in fact) which was amazing considering how long I had been self-conscious about it, and my scissor bite was corrected quickly. I'm just saying it may take longer than they say initially.

Thanks for the heads up. I cant decide whether go for the lite which is 14 trays and dentist reckons that might just do it but the lite version (which means £500 cheaper!) there are only a couple of extra trays included where as the 'full' version is basically unlimited trays. My only concern is the 'attachments' (nobbly bits) and which teeth they will be put on and how obvious they will be. My issue is my bottom middle tooth which is tucked back rather than sticking out. Im pleased to hear you noticed a difference within weeks and especially in time for your special day x
