Stepping into new fragrance territory for the first time in 20 years.
Stopped wearing scent when my xh told me he was allergic. Total controlling bollocks but that’s a whole other thread .

No ideas for hinting at my new bf and know going into boots and sniffing everything doesn’t work after the first 3 so looking for a shortlist.
Once upon a time I liked Poison and white musk .
(I did say it’d been a while )

I like Eternity and also wear Cerrutti 1881 and Calvin Klein Euphoria.

They don't smell at all the same but may give you some ideas of others to try.

Eternity is a rose-based scent so you may like other rosey perfumes, such as:

Paris by YSL
Tresor by Lancôme
Rosa Nobile by Acqua di Parma

I’ll try and think of some more, but if you google rose-based scents you may find some ideas.

But if you want to try something spicy and hark back to your musk days then maybe Black Opium.

I like Eternity and currently wear Black Opium which I love and get lots of compliment on it. I also like Chanel Allure and Calvin Klein Euphoria.

I used to wear Eternity ( and nearly bought a new bottle this summer more than 20 years since last wearing it...). I find a lot of the designer brands too heavy for me, but I quite like the DKNY Delicious perfumes. Another oldie I love is Aqua di Gio by Armani. But generally I wear L'Occitane perfumes - I keep going back to Rose 4 Reines.

2GorgeousBoys you wear exactly the same perfume as I do. I love 1881.

The best thing to do is get yourself to a perfume counter. I have done this several times in Boots after perfumes I liked were discontinued. The woman there made suggestions, sprayed samples on the cardboard and was very knowledgeable about the different notes that made up the scent so we could pinpoint what I was after. Plus it is a very nice experience to have someone totally focused on you. Honestly - give it a go! I haven't walked out with anything very expensive any time I've done it but that really didn't seem to matter.
