Clarisonic replacement chargers

I have a Clarisonic Aria and the charger has just broken and I have emailed Clarisonic and they have basically replied and said that they don't sell the chargers separately, they only make them to be purchased with the Clarisonic device and there is no way that they can help me to source a new one. So, what now? Over £100 wasted as it is now no use without a charger, I am fuming to be honest and I will never, ever, purchase any thing from them ever again! Has anybody else experienced this?

That is pathetic. Have you checked places like amazon? Or eBay? Gumtree?

Yes, I can only find the whole packages that have chargers with them, it looks like I may have to purchase a whole set second hand just to source a charger

How old is it? I think i would respond that if they cannot supply a new charger they will have to send you an entire new unit at an appropriately adjusted cost.

Mine had a long warranty and when itvwant taking a full charge they sent me a new boxes unit

It's about 2 years old, I will dig the box out and have a look for the warranty details. It just seems a silly policy to not have a parts and spares service. I have tweeted them but no reply as yet. Surely it costs them more money to send out whole new replacements under warranty than just a charger?

The snthus for the mia2? The did used to sell the charger separately but I’ve had a notification set up for restocks for over a year now. Ridiculous.

Some people do sell their whole units on eBay fairly cheaply so that might be one way to get a replacement charger.

DH ‘tidied’ away my Mia 2 charger and I’ve been trying to find a replacement ever since - proverbial rocking horse poo I’ve tried contacting Clarisonic too, EBay etc but unless you’re willing to pay £100 in shipping or whatever you can’t find one. Maybe we should all tweet them?

If they think that by withholding chargers that I will go out and purchase a brand new complete one then they can think again!

That is appalling customer service. I agree with putting it on social media.

If it had been in warranty they would have had to send you a whole replacement one.

Not the same point - but I find the charging of these things is terrible. They just don't hold their charge. ie. if you fully charge it and don't use it for a couple of weeks you need to charge it again. I don't get why it is so rubbish - even my toothbrush which is smaller in terms of battery holds its charge for longer.

They only appear to have a Twitter for their American distribution so I have tweeted them anyway and I am waiting for a reply. There must be loads of people who have been caught out like this.

I have also posted on Facebook and it seems I'm not the only person who has received terrible customer service from them.

I've got through 3 clarisonics due to the damn thing no longer holding charge. First two times it happened it was within warranty and they replaced the whole thing. Third time it was only just out of warranty and I haven't replaced it because I feel uncomfortable about the waste. That's how they design things these days and I hate it.

I have a charger for the Mia that I can post to anyone for postage costs if they want it! No idea if it’s the same as for the Mia 2 or not. My Mia was unused and lost in my house move but the charger remains
