Going back to work in 3 weeks to a position on senior management team. I'm the youngest by ten years.

Size 10 but big boobs
5'2"
Like to wear heels (normally black)
Don't suit yellows or pastels
No budget that's a lie

Spam away.

The Fold London has some gorgeous pieces that are ideal for work.

Pretty pricey but good investment pieces IMO!

Good luck for your return Smile

I like roman originals - it's cheap but classic and good quality.

Last time I looked online the dresses where shit but I've got some lovely dresses from there

The more conservative stuff from &Other Stories is great for the Office. I also suggest you raid Whistles sale - that’s where I get all my best work dresses.

Seems to be quite divisive in MN, but I really like Cos. Also Jigsaw can be good.

Onekidnoclue · 14/12/2017 09:18

Agree with pp. jigsaw, cos, other stories and whistles are great.
I’d also suggest reiss (trousers and suits), lk bennet (skirts and shoes, though can be frumpy) and Hobbs (esp for coats and cardigans). It can often look more slapper than senior management but there’s often the odd gem in Karen Millen. I also rate warehouse for knitwear and if you want to get a capsule executive wardrobe that’s gorgeous but will cost a bomb check out me & em.
Colour wise I’d stick with darker gem colours, burgundy, navy, emerald green etc. They mix well and will look good with black accessories.
I’d go and get some lovely underwear too but that’s just me! I feel so much more confident and ‘together’ with nice undies, plus a grotty bra can ruin an outfit.
Good luck on your return. X

Thanks all! I am filling my baskets up and will have to make some tough decisions about what gets the chop later!

Shamelessly placemarking! I’m going back to work in a few months from mat leave

I love j crew dresses, pricey but very professional and well designed

Whistles are great too
