Eyelash extensions -how do you take your make up off?

So I've taken the plunge and booked natural extensions for this week, I had a couple applied to each eye yesterday to check for sensitivity and was told to use oil free make up remover (I usually use Garnier Micellar water but couldn't tell if it's oil free or not)
I bought Simple eye make up tenor which says it's oil free but when I wiped off my makeup with it on a cotton pad the lashes came it.
I must admit I want very gentle (forgot to be) but I really don't want that to happen to the real thing.
Please tell me what you do, they're costing £50 which is a lot for me so I want them to last as long as possible

Some micellar waters aren't oil free but most should be, the Bioderma Sensibio one definitely is oil free.

I've had eyelash extensions before and I didn't wear any mascara on them at all - didn't need to. I would recommend just dabbing any makeup remover along the eyeline and then just holding a cotton pad with remover on on top on the lashes and gently swiping down. Enjoy the lashes!

You won't need to wear mascara with eyelash extensions.
I use a Clarins oil-free eye make up remover, for sensitive eyes, on a cotton pad for eyeshadow and on a cotton bud for eyeliner.

Don't wear mascara. You won't need it and it will make you look TOWIE.

I love my lash extensions so much. I have Russian. I don’t wear mascara but to remove the rest of my eye makeup I use a gentle eye friendly cleanser (mine is Paula’s Choice). Tbh after the first 24 hours you should cleanse your lashes daily to prevent crusties building up.
