Coat, zip just broken. Annoyingly will need a new coat.

My Boden coat zip has just broken, it'll either need replacing ( which I think will end up costing as much as a new coat) or I'll need a new coat.

Any ideas where I can get a long ish coat to cover my bottom, size 22. I'd like a waterproof ish one but it doesn't have to be. Budget around £120. Ideally delivery this week as I've got lots of Christmas things to go to and no coat!

Unless it's made from woven unicorn hair, a new zip shouldn't cost as much as a new coat!

If you were planning to get your new coat from the Primark sale is think you had a point, but a new zip will not cost anything like 130 quid. 30 quid absolute tops for a solid job.

Well, if you made the purchase less than 365 days ago, a Boden will refund you. Just call them, they are great with things like that. If it's older than that, I had a new zip put into a coat for £25 recently.

I did call them, it turns out I bought it two years ago, which seems reasonable. They did say I could send the coat back and they'll look into repairs at my cost which does seem ok.

However, in the meantime, I still would like another coat.

I've taken it to the 2 local repair places and neither are willing to do it unfortunately.
