Beauty box subscription

Hi,

I have been looking for one more gift to get for my mum for Christmas and read about these today. I had never heard of them before but have been reading the M&S and Look Fantastic thread and thought it would be a great idea for my mum. She loves make up/skin products and although she does tend to stick to her favourite brands she does like finding out about new products.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I have been googling and seem to come across Look Fantastic, Birchbox and Glossy box a lot? Has anyone had one of these subscriptions? I'm looking for something around £10/£15 a month and would probably do it for 3 or 6 months initially to see if she likes it. Does this sound like a good idea?

Watching with interest as I'm looking for one for myself! I think it's a lovely idea for a gift. My friend used Birchbox for about 8 months until she found the products were getting a little repetitive and/or not relevant for her even though they ask for your preferences. Up until then she was very pleased with it though so perhaps a 6 month subscription would work.
