Sainsbury's??!!

Just bought these after stalking round Zara and GAP trying to find some.

They look amazing on. But I am surprised as I only went in to buy veggie curry and naval oranges.

Sainsbury's??!!

I got a lovely paisley tunic from sainsbury today which I love!

Whishkeeey · 09/12/2017 22:31

Sainsbury's Tu has some absolute gems from time to time.

If you check online regularly, they often do a 25% discount promo, too, which makes it even more bargainous Grin

SouthWestmom · 09/12/2017 23:21

Oh will check that out. Was so surprised, some nice bits

That always happens to me in Sainsbury's! Come home with a new outfit but nothing for dinner! Nice trousers OP Smile

SouthWestmom · 10/12/2017 05:36

Thank you! Never happened in Tesco or ASDA

The jeggings are great, they fit well & wash brilliantly. Dh wears the joggers around the house, he is very impressed with them.

I've got 6 pairs. I'll probably buy another colour in the January sales.

CointreauVersial · 10/12/2017 11:19

I can't go near our local Sainsbury's - the clothes department is right by the entrance, and I can lose hours in there before remembering I had come in for food. There are a few embellished polyester nightmares to dodge but a lot of decent stuff at very good prices. Good sales too - proper 50% discounts.

paddingtonbear1 · 10/12/2017 11:31

I have a few dresses from there, they are very flattering and the quality is good. They used to do a petite range, I wish they'd bring it back as their long dresses are too long for me!

SouthWestmom · 10/12/2017 11:37

It's a revelation! Like a nicer H and M

RoseWhiteTips · 10/12/2017 12:11

A revelation? All I see are rails of horribly bright stuff in man made fibres.

SouthWestmom · 10/12/2017 12:29

Rose, you meanie!

Just surprised there were some things I'd wear (and I bought the trousers). I've always walked past ASDA and Tesco etc ranges thinking how grim they are.

There are occasional gems, I agree. I never bought supermarket clothes before, but check there every so often now.

MissWimpyDimple · 10/12/2017 12:44

I buy the work trousers there. They wear and wash well and are generally cut well.

CadiM · 10/12/2017 15:22

I like their sports stuff, leggings and some of their jeans but they've stopped putting pockets in a lot of the trousers (fake zippy things instead) and have really ramped up the frills, ruining decent, simple tops. The lined sports socks are excellent though, never had a blister with them.

endehors · 10/12/2017 15:28

That's true too, Rose. But you can find an occasional decent thing and the quality isn't too bad at all for the cost.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 10/12/2017 15:29

I have the checked trousers. Had them for a while. Wear them for work. They are extremely comfortable, and excellent length and they've got pockets. Love Sainsbos for clothes.

PinkHeart5914 · 10/12/2017 15:33

I often buy bits for me, Dh and the dc in sainsburys. I find they wash well

SouthWestmom · 10/12/2017 16:07

Bobbin the length is brilliant. I've just discovered 34 leg in Top Shop and it's changed my jeans buying for good!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 10/12/2017 17:36

Everywhere else is too short! I'm only 5ft 7 and don't think I've got very long legs. The crotch to waistband length is the major issue and these trousers are very flattering and comfy.

pigletpie29 · 10/12/2017 17:44

Skinny dark blue jeans - £14 and last for ages!

RoseWhiteTips · 10/12/2017 20:18

Tesco AW 2016 had this lovely coat in its collection. A bit surprise to be honest but the fashion pages had covered it so for the price it was an amazing and gorgeous bargain. It is so classic in style. Still love it.

A bit of a surprise...

CountFosco · 10/12/2017 21:19

I got a fantastic maxi skirt from there last summer. 100% cotton and with pockets. Since I'm in the shop regularly it's worth a detour through the clothes to see what natural materials there are. They had some cool stuff by a student designer last year that sadly didn't suit me but were wonderful.

And I really rate their kids clothes. Much better quality t-shirts than NEXT but half the price.
