LBD - what tights?

I'm going out to a drinks do and bit of a party just before Christmas and my plain black just above knee dress will be perfect outfit especially if i manage to find a good faux fur coat to finish the outfit off.

But what tights? 40d opaque, 60d opaque, nude tights?

I have either black patent stilettos or gunmetal patent stilettos or black spike heel ankle boots

I would go 40d personally although I know a lot prefer nude. I hate my legs so black hides them more for me!

And, although it depends a bit on the dress, I would wear the ankle boots.
