Foolproof smokey eye tutorial?

I’ve scoured YouTube and yet all I seem to find are tutorials that require about eleventy billion different products and shades of eyeshadow. Am I on a hiding to nothing expecting there to be one that only uses a few shades and some eyeliner? Can anyone point me in the direction of a goodun?

It helps that she already looks amazing, but she uses very few products

This one is also really good, get the same tone eyeliner and shadow and you can recreate the look in any shade you like. My eyes are brown so I like re-creating this with plum colours and it’s really good.
