I used to give perfume as a gift, ask people their favourite and buy it for their birthday/Christmas, sometimes for a few years running. Now though I've often asked about a perfume to be told they don't do it anymore (and not something old either!) It makes it so much harder to buy perfume - many people are fussy and don't just want to spray anything on. Also just because you like one from a certain brand doesn't mean you're always going to like their products, so you can't just buy a similar looking bottle from the same brand.
