Any special offers running with Jo Malone at the moment ? Birthday is on Tuesday and DP hasn’t got me anything yet and I fancy a little something from Jo Malone but feel a bit 🤔 at the prices for literally just 1 item, wondering if they will throw in any extra for a birthday!
He can go in store ..

If he goes into the store and mentions it's your birthday they'll probably chuck in a few samples but I don't think they do 'sales' as such, mainly because they're just so popular that they don't need to.

The best one I've ever been to was the Chester store; the staff were incredible, knowledgeable and gave me loads of sample bits and a free 30ml perfume (though that was when they were running their surprise promotion).

I’ve never found and reductions but you can have arm massages and get free samples of other products.

They do surprise promotions every so often but they usually only announce a day or so before

I am a regular customer and received 30ml bottles of the new English oak and Hazelnut and English Oak and Redcurrant through the post
Was well pleased

If you like Jo Malone fragrances, Perfume Parlour does dupes of the most popular ones and the smell /longevity is reportedly very good.

The reality is the JM sells overpriced cologne. They don’t last and sillage isn’t great because most are colognes not perfumes. It’s a case of style/marketing over substance. Saying that, they do have some interesting blends. A British company offering similar interesting blends of natural scents is Shay and Blue. They sell for a more realistic £55 per 100ml.

There are a few proper perfumes in JM collection now but they are incredibly expensive. There are much better perfume houses out there offering a better quality/ price ratio.

They don't do sales really. And I suppose most stuff being bought at the moment is a gift, so I wouldn't expect special treatment. I bought a wedding present there last week and got no samples or anything!

I think it has gone down the pan recently. It used to feel niche. Now it's a bit of a cliche.
A lot of the scents don't last at all, whereas they used to have real staying power. I bought a candle recently thst I actually dislike the smell of! I also treated myself to a shower gel and I thought it smelt quite artificial.

Diptique is gorgeous I think.

I think I’d like another of the Pom Noir bath oil as I find it has very good staying power on me , bought it this year as part of the infamous Mumsnet candle promotion !
