Navy wide leg trousers?

Wide leg trousers suit my shape, as I have a narrow waist and chunky thighs.

I'm hankering after a navy pair, which I see as a wardrobe staple for work with a shirt and brogues, relaxed afternoons with a fine knit and boots, dressy with (not too high!) heels and a glam top.

Am I deluded and does such a thing exist? I'd pay £100ish if I'm going to get this much wear from them.

Can anyone find them?

I have these http://www.warehouse.co.uk/gb/clothing/trousers/pleated-culottes/029621.html?dwvar0296211_color=77&position=4#q=Culloted&start=4&categoryID=null
They look quite short on the pic but are ankle length on me. Always get compliments when I wear them Smile

I have going to suggest some til I saw your price bracket.

I got some from Sainsbos for 16 quid. They are work trousers and nothing more and are a poly blend but I found them more flattering than some 5 times the price. Am a short arsed hourglass /pear with a tum and heavy thigh.

I love Boden widelegged woollen trousers. These aren't entirely navy though which is a consideration when they will last years.

I am a similar shape to you and live in M&S wide leg trousers. Was just wondering about some woollen ones for winter when totally posted that link. They're lovely.

@Floisme is obsessed with widelegged trousers and has just bought some corduroy ones from UNIQLO. She might tell you what she thinks when she gets them.

I'm wearing the Hush Winona's, and really like them. Come in black and navy.

Floisme · 10/12/2017 22:09

Yes I will op. They are very wide and very long and I am rather small but am I bothered? Grin I will let you know what they're like.

I also like Toast and Me and Em for trousers. Both probably over budget at the moment but if you hold your nerve, they do good sales.

Watching a few pairs of TOAST trousers on eBay, waiting for the sale too.

Floisme · 10/12/2017 23:08

Cos is worth a look too. How they sell anything at all through their website is a mystery to me but in real life, some of it's great and normally good quality.

I have some navy wide legs from the John Lewis suit collection- purchased last year. Hepburn range - I think they still do the range. I wear them to work a lot!
