Eternity ring

DH and I have been together 20 years and have been talking about an eternity ring. We’d probably have it made with the gold from my Mum’s wedding ring but I have no idea what would go with my engagement and wedding rings. Please can you give me some ideas?

I’ve got small hands (although they don’t look it in this picture!) so I don’t want anything too big.

Is your engagement diamond square? If so, an eternity ring with square channel set stones would look lovely. Love the idea of using your mum's ring

I’ve had the rest of Mum’s jewellery made into a necklace and earrings but kept her wedding ring back for this. She always wanted an eternity ring and Dad promised her one for their 50the wedding anniversary but he died before the got there. Mum bought her own but it was too big for me to wear and couldn’t be altered so I thought I’d use her wedding ring for mine.

I think 3 rings on one finger seems a little too many. So I’d get one that you’ll love but wear it on the other hand.

I already wear my Mum’s engagement ring on the middle finger of my left hand and I think it looks odd (on me) to have rings on more than one finger of the same hand. I also don’t want to detract from Mum’s ring as I love it. It’s about 60 years old and so different to today’s engagement rings.
