Urban Decay Naked Palette??

SparklingSnowfall · 08/12/2017 12:26

I'm quite new to slightly higher end beauty and urban decay naked palettes have caught my eye - they look lovely!! Would you recommend in general, and which one would you recommend for me? I'm very, very blonde, blue eyes, pale (ish) but not very pale complexion, quite joules/boden in style fully appreciate some you of aren't keen on this! I like make up that is a bit shimmery, current favourite is Stila 'kitten' eyeshadow

Any recommendations (and the cheapest place to get the naked palette from) appreciated!

Firstly, John Lewis have them on sale at the moment for £31.60 instead of £39.50. The Basic palettes are £19.20 instead of £24, although these are all matts so not what you are after.

I'll defer to others to recommend the right palette for you.

This recent Naked Palette thread might help.

Oh thanks so much!! Sounds like they get a 'yes definitely buy' and naked 2 might be the right one for my colouring! Smile

I have different colouring to you but agree that Naked 2 is a great all round neutral palette. I have Naked 2, 3, Smoky and basic 2. I love Naked 2 and smoky the best out of the ones I have.

I have the same colouring as you & I love the naked 2 palette. I'm just about to order another one as I've pretty much used most of the colours. Good mix of daytime colours & some more glittery ones for evening.

Naked 3 is lovely on people with blue eyes, especially if you like rose gold shimmery shades.

SparklingSnowfall · 08/12/2017 21:30

I suspect I might be going to buy one tomorrow... Grin

They’re 30% off in debenhams at the moment.

SparklingSnowfall · 08/12/2017 22:09

That's where I'm off to fabulous but thanks for checking for me Smile

I'm cool toned pale white, dark brown hair, khaki green eyes and I suit the Naked 2 pallete the most although 1 is also really nice. Haven't tried 3 as I felt it was two warm for me but imagining your colouring I feel like 3 might really suit you. It's quite pinky in tone, lots of rose golds.

1 leans warm and 2 is definitely cooler.

They're very good. Especially if you like shimmers and metallics. The copper coloured one (name escapes me) is gorgeous.

Chopper was the shade I meant. Half baked is beautiful too, it's in 1 and 2.

I'm sure 1 is warmer but it looks cooler on these pics. You'll know when you see them in real life I think.

Oh hello lovely treat! I really liked 2 & 3 well them all really but 3 looked like the one I'd make most use of, although if 2 is in the sale over Christmas...

I bought one recently but had to return it as they made my eye lids really sore Sad. I do really like their anti ageing primer potion tho (the original made eyes sore too)
