Those ankle boots with a vee...

...are so lovely but I can only find precariously tall ones like these: m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-shoes-boots/boots/a0042-oxb/womens-oxblood-alexa-heeled-boots

Have any of you seen any more suited to a night of dance and booze please?

Thank you!

I have googled some more. My conclusion is they're all around 3 inches high unless you go for a chunkier or cone shaped heel

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 07/12/2017 22:07

M&S have some. Still quite a high heel but very comfy soles.

Thank you for the suggestions - I saw those Rida ones but I’m not sure whether they look a bit more suitable for work. Do you think a cone heel be teeter-y?

M&S ones are these I think. Would try them as I have loads of m&s shoes and even the high heels are mega comfy

I think cheap cone heels can be precarious but depends again, best to try them on and get an idea of how they're balanced

I’ve got those M and S boots as my work shoes and for a high heel they are very comfy indeed. I wear them round the office all day.

Gullane · 07/12/2017 22:21

Mmn. They are lovely but too high. Siiighhh. Thank you anyway!

Would Ash Jalouse boots fit the bill, or not enough vee?

workshyfop · 07/12/2017 22:29

These are not high and are very comfortable but may not be night-time enough....

Just bought the M&S ones, wish I hadn't looked at this thread! Blush

chloechloe · 08/12/2017 05:30

I have the Boden ones and love them, they're not that high at all.

I've only worn them once with a dress. How is everybody else styling theirs? I would like to wear them with jeans but never know what length and cut they should be. The demise of the skinny jean has left me confused about what to wear!

Gullane · 08/12/2017 08:07

Mine are for wearing with a short high necked dress and then also jeans with a rolled up hem. I think 3” is about the right height for avoiding broken-ness..!

I've got the Carvella ones, they're lovely but they are higher than they look!

Gullane · 08/12/2017 20:17

I bought the Carvela ones after a trip to town today and they’re fabulous. The Boden/ M&S ones were a bit spiky and the Gabor not to my taste at all. I liked the Carvelas in grey and burgundy as well so will be keeping a beady eye on the sales. Thanks all!
