I fear my friends are being kind, so be brutally honest...

Does this look good, bad, awful? Too short? Too long? Too black, too boring? Too rectangular?

Thanks.

I like the jumpsuit. It's smart and It emphasises your very nice waist, not rectangular at all. I'm not too sure about the shoes. I think with the leg length an enclosed toe black shoe would create a longer line and be more flattering.

ShirleyPhallus · 07/12/2017 22:01

Sorry but that’s not flattering at all. The trousers are too short, too baggy around the hips making you look bigger, and the metal circle thing is very 2002

You have a lovely figure and this looks really dated

B0033 · 07/12/2017 22:02

The trousers don't fit as nicely as they could, I think. A bit too loose around the hips, and I think the bottom hemline should be a bit tighter around the ankles. If that makes sense....

RestingGrinchFace · 07/12/2017 22:04

I wouldn't if I were you. The trousers sit very awkwardly around the cuff and the Sanford plus the goldbuckle thing are too much.

Apileofballyhoo · 07/12/2017 22:07

The top part is lovely on you but the trousers aren't elegant.

user21 · 07/12/2017 22:07

Ditch the belt or change for black with no gold.
Extend the leg with shoes of the same colour.
Long pendant
Chunky bangle or heavy dress rings

Casmama · 07/12/2017 22:09

I think it looks a bit cheap and ill fitting. You have got a good figure and I think you could find something much more flattering.

MikeUniformMike · 07/12/2017 22:12

I think it looks nice but you asking suggests that you don't.

SleepFreeZone · 07/12/2017 22:13

My only issue is the shoes look like they are going to hurt you an hour or so into the night.

Littlechocola · 07/12/2017 22:13

It’s shapeless and I feel it’s making you look frumpy.

AfterSchoolWorry · 07/12/2017 22:15

I think it's too short and maybe too frumpy for you

Ohyesiam · 07/12/2017 22:18

You've for a great figure, and you cab carry this off. It could be better cut though, but you can definitely wear it and look good.

HundredMilesAnHour · 07/12/2017 22:21

This. And the shoes are wrong - as others have said, enclosed black shoes will make your legs look longer.

Sorry! You have a nice figure but this outfit does nothing for you.

Tojumpornottojump · 07/12/2017 22:23

Tried it with my only closed toe black shoes. The buckle is silver and I can’t change it, it’s sown in.

It’s back in the bag with the return form filled in Sad

Thanks though!

I think it's lovely!

ShirleyPhallus · 07/12/2017 22:25

To be fair, the top part looks ok so probably a wrap dress would look lovely on you?

What’s the occasion and can we help you find something?

AfterSchoolWorry · 07/12/2017 22:26

Yeah, even the other shoes dont help. You're too young for it OP.

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2017 22:26

No. But I think the v neck works well, so if you cut the photo off just under your boobs, that area looks fab. The middle bit is adding bulk and the trousers a bit short and too wide
I would look for a v neck one with slimmer cut to it

3boys3dogshelp · 07/12/2017 22:27

I like it but I think it's a tiny bit too short in the leg for you, which is not particularly flattering. Wish I had your figure!

blue2014 · 07/12/2017 22:31

Yep, send it back - you've got a lovely figure. Anything else would look loads better

Tojumpornottojump · 07/12/2017 22:31

It’s for my Christmas night out. I have a similar black wrap dress, which is mid length and the one time i’ve worn it I felt that I looked like a brick shithouse!

The jumpsuit is shorter on the model, but I’m not quite 5ft 2, although this is the petite version.

Ignoring the sequins and velvet (I'm trying to find an example!)
It's a bit in between leg shape wise

More fitted in the leg like this http://www.very.co.uk/v-by-very-sequin-jumpsuit/1600198237.prd

Or a distinct wide leg like this
http://www.very.co.uk/miss-selfridge-velvet-ruched-sleeve-jumpsuit/1600223993.prd

ShirleyPhallus · 07/12/2017 22:39

LOVE the sequin jumpsuit!!!

At 5’2” I think the 70s vibe one would swamp OP but the sequin one could be gorgeous

Tojumpornottojump · 07/12/2017 22:40

The sequin one is gorgeous, but it’s not going to be made for a short arse like me.
