Another The Ordinary post - 2% retinoid

Anyone suffered spots when first using?

I am using this a few times a week in the evening. I've noticed some lumpy under skin spots on my forehead and just today a lovely cluster of pimply type bastards on my nose. I usually get the odd spot as I have slightly oily skin but this is bad for me. My make up is also looking a bit claggy all of a sudden.

The rest of my skin is slowly improving so can't decide if this is weather, hormones, lack of exercise, stress, the retinoid or everything together. Anyone else experienced the spots?

Yes, I'm on week 4 and they've started. I've been told they go quite quickly.

They're very minor spots if you know what I mean. Not big, red and painful ones so I can live with them.
