Must have Christmas - style and beauty

What are the must have beauty (or fashion) products if 2017? I'm looking for a gift for someone, around the £40-£50 mark, she is very beautiful, middle Eastern skin, big into clothes and makeup. Age 28. A few years ago it was the naked palette. Not sure what's hot now?

I think it depends. The ABH palettes are incredible, and have sold masses this year, but you'd have to take a punt on her chosen colours. The Prism is my absolute favourite.
