Toner for light ash blonde hair

My hair is very light blonde and I usually have it toned at the hairdressers but the toner has normally completely faded after 3 weeks.

I can't afford to be in the hairdressers every 3 weeks so need an at home solution to get the colour that I want. Can anyone recommend a toner that will help me to get the colour shown in the photo?

You can use a purple shampoo once a week to maintain the colour. Leave it on for five minutes then rinse off. I like the l’oreal Profesionnel silver one myself:

I've tried a couple of different purple shampoos and I feel like they either don't really do anything or I get patches of lilac in my hair.

Wella T18 Colour Charm is your friend here. There's loads of videos on YouTube and you'll see the result it's a lovely colour, im obsessed with ashy blonde tones in my hair.
I buy mine from ebay it's not sold in shops although I've heard Sallys supplies might stock it if you're near one. You mix it with 10 0r 20 developer. It lasts a few washes but it's cheaper than keep going back to salon to have it done.

Colour Charm is for professional use only. Colour Fresh is Wella's salon quality line for home use.

Perfecton by Colour Fresh in /8 is a nice silvery colour but washes out within a few washes. You get a lot of applications in one bottle and it's non-damaging.

Directions and Manic Panic both do 'white' toners, which should last 4-6 weeks. Your hair needs to be 'inside of a banana' light yellow for them to work.

You could also ask your stylist to use a demi or quasi colour instead of a toner, this would give longer lasting results.

Gorgeous colour but so hard to achieve and maintain. I think it's a colour that's basically expensive to maintain sadly.
