Hi, I'm on the look out for a lovely concealer. Something that would work for scars as well as under the eye. Not lancome tient, that was too light for my darker skin.

Unsure on shades as there isn't that many but Vichy Dermablend is quite good, I can imagine theirs would cover scarring.
They have them in a lot of Boots stores now so you could go in and try a little bit out :)
I love benefit boi-ing for under the eye x

I have Amazing concealer. It's expensive but the amount required is so small that it really does last a good few months. It's the best I've come across.

HistoryMad · 02/12/2017 21:41

Thanks. Anyone else?

Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer is amazing and lasts for ages. It’s my favourite ever product!

newperson · 02/12/2017 21:55

I find the MAC little pots the best.

HistoryMad · 02/12/2017 22:02

@sailorjerrycherry thanks, where did you go to get colour matched?

Nars do a good creamy concealer for under eyes and a duo concealer for marks it’s very good and they have good colours for dark skin

Have you also tried a colour corrector concealer to go underneath your regular concealer? It really works have a quick google of nyx hd concealers

HistoryMad · 02/12/2017 22:05

@bumwad I tried the nars one but it looked too light on my skin. I just want one concealer really to use under eyes and scars. I normally wear tinted moisturiser on top.

Another vote for Kevin Aucoin concealer. I got mine in space nk but you should be able to check stockists on their website. It’s honestly brilliant. I have a small scar above my eyebrow and it works perfectly for it.

Kat von d concealer is also meant to be good for scars but i haven’t tried that one

MightyMunki · 02/12/2017 22:09

Laura Gellar ‘the real deal’ concealer is very good at covering up. I bought mine via qvc so I could return it if the colour didn’t match up, I’m light olive and use the medium one. I’m sure I watched a demo where they used it to cover a tattoo.

Sailorjerrycherry · 02/12/2017 22:39

Space NK stock it so I got matched there initially and now buy it on Cult Beauty.
I actually mix a tiny bit of my foundation before applying with a concealer brush as it makes it easier to apply but it’s honestly the holy grail of concealers and it has a lovely finish; so many of them are cakey but this isn’t at all.

Tarte shape tape is good for under eyes, qvc sell it

If you are dark under the eyes I would recommend a peach toned corrector first.
The following are very nice concealer
Tarte shape tape
MAC ProLongwear is really nice full coverage but fluidy
Can try the Urban decay Naked
The Clarins one get a lot of love but unfortunately it doesn't come on my shade 😠

Ofthread · 04/12/2017 05:12

Also recommend Nars, the shade range is pretty good.

Auldspinster · 04/12/2017 07:58

Kiko Full Coverage is good.
