No from me.

Espadrilles just look all wrong with such a seasonal xmas party dress.

Far too summery.

pinkbraces · 29/11/2017 22:57

No, too casual for the dress, they are more summery sandals

knockknockknock · 29/11/2017 22:57

Hmmm not really. The shoes look a bit summery whereas the dress isn't. But saying that I have absolutely no fashion sense.

knockknockknock · 29/11/2017 22:58

Smile. 3 post all saying summery. Think that's your answer.

Redcrayons · 29/11/2017 22:59

Way too casual. I've been eyeing that dress up myself.

Gemini69 · 29/11/2017 23:04

that dress is gorgeous... Smile

agree about the shoe Lady

speakfriendandenter · 29/11/2017 23:05

I agree with others, the woven bit makes the wedge too casual and summery. Gorgeous dress though!

timeisnotaline · 29/11/2017 23:08

The dress is lovely. The shoes need a summery maxi.

LardLizard · 29/11/2017 23:31

Yes the woven bit make sthe dimes more casual
Wonder if that woven bit was not woven would they do ok then ?

No the wedges look like holiday/summer shoes

Can you not wear heeled strappy sandals that look similar to the silver wedges from the front? You can get ones with a thick heel:

ferrier · 29/11/2017 23:50

The dress doesn't really suit any wedges.
Strappy spiky sandals or spiky courts are the way to go.

Fozzleyplum · 29/11/2017 23:54

The dress is lovely. The sandals are nice, too, but would be completely wrong with the dress. It needs some heels-possibly silver strap ones.

LardLizard · 30/11/2017 14:41

Thanks for the advice
I can see you are right

I love love love that dress, and I rarely like party type dresses.

Sadly they have sold out in my size, and I have zero occasion for it .

Shoe wise, needs a proper shoe with a heel I'm afraid. Espadrilles won't work, a pointy court would though

carolhere · 30/11/2017 15:51

I love the dress and the wedges both but not together of course. The dress would match with a much dressier pair of shoes.
