Slipper Boots - which size to buy

I used to buy Size 3-4 slipper boots from BHS and they fitted perfectly. The only place in town with a good selection of slipper boots is M&S. Size 3, my toes are at the end, size 4 feel comfy but I'm conscious padded sole will reduce after wear and there may be stretch. Which size would you buy. I'm normally a size 3 in boots and shoes.

The smaller I would say .I’ve had two pairs of slipper boots, both different brands (one M&S and one Totes) and both completely stretched and went loose/out of shape. I ended up having to grip my toes to keep them on my feet!

Thanks for that. As I'm normally a 3 in their shoes and boots, you'd think the 3 would be okay.
