Looking to get some samples for a gift for a family member. Which is the safest, most middle of the road/popular set please?

I would go with the taster set and possibly the best of British one
It's hard as it depends whether they like fruit or floral.. fresh scents
Do you know what they usually wear? Or age and description? If not, I would drop them a message as they're amazing at answering questions!

I considered buying a 4160T taster set for a Christmas present but didn't. I didn't think my intended recipient was keen enough on perfume to appreciate the cost of what I was giving (e.g. I just had a conversation with someone at work who didn't understand why I paid for samples). And I don't think the packaging of the 4160T taster sets are 'fancy' enough to convey the cost as a gift either. Certainly not on comparison to the crazy packaging you see in Boots for gift sets at the moment that essentially contain samples.

Having said all that if they are into perfume they will appreciate it and I think it's a lovely fun gift that I'd certainly appreciate. But if you are looking for a 'safe' option then you might be better getting one of the sample sets from the Perfume Society. 4160T is wonderfully eccentric.
