Hello ladies, can anyone tell me about this range please? I’ve heard the caviar cream is great and the makeup looks good too. Has anyone tried it? Is it any good? Really need a new moisturizer but don’t have a big budget xxx

I really liked the caviar day cream and serum. The doll eye mascara is good too, and the CC cream and brow pencil.

UAEMum · 29/11/2017 01:44

I have used this range for years. Its is great. My only suggestion is to avoid the soy ones, horrible and slimy. Lacura won a very significant blind trial against big brands a few years ago. Came out on top over the likes of estee lauder and clinique

scoobdoob · 29/11/2017 01:46

I love it, night cream and day cream. Serum is lovely.
Same ingredients as far more expensive products.

bakewelltarte · 29/11/2017 06:31

I haven't tried the caviar range but the lacura cuvée royale range really dried my skin out - the product contained alcohol so I stopped using it and wouldn't buy again x

Hi, I switched to Aldi about 5 yrs ago, I did use the red 'expert' day and night creams which were great but I can't get the day cream in my local store atm so have switched to the q10 day cream which I will keep using. Also I can't rate the midnight cream in the purple jar highly enough. The caviar ones were too much for my skin though.

mrsmildred · 29/11/2017 08:16

I love it, switched from Clarins about two years ago and haven't felt the need to return.

I'm currently using the day cream meant for mature skin, as I felt at 46yrs old it was time (!) but I find it really thick and not very moisturising so I'm changing back to the Q10 range. The mature skin night cream in the red pot I find lovely though and smells great. It smells like it has lavender in which is very calming for night. I also use the eye gel, I'm not sure its any better than the cream, but at a couple of £ it's no big investment. I've also used the serum in the past too.

Leatherboundanddown · 29/11/2017 08:33

The clicky under eye concealer is fantastic.

screamativemom · 29/11/2017 09:55

Ooh sounds promising! Are the creams highly scented? Don't know whether to go for q10 or caviar, I do like a thick moisturizer though? Are they reasonably priced? Smile

I use both. Q10 serum and then caviar day cream. I love both Smile

BroomstickOfLove · 29/11/2017 12:37

They are bringing out the Liz Earle dupe cleanser again, which I love. The colour correcting sticks and clicky under eye concealer are great. I like the night creams, especially the recent midnight cream, but the sunscreen in the day creams irritates my eyes a bit, so I tend to use a separate SPF cream.

BroomstickOfLove · 29/11/2017 12:39

They are super cheap. They tend to be a bit less rich than some of the pricier brands, and my skin gets very dry in winter, so I top up with La Roche Posay vaguely medicinal cream for when I dry out too much, but I'm as happy with it for the basics as I was with dermalogica.

Cracklesfire · 29/11/2017 12:45

I love the day cream, my skin is always really dry and it's been better than Origins, Clinique, ESPA etc.

buttwingsham · 29/11/2017 12:56

Leather I tried the concealer a couple of weeks ago it's really good isn't it?!

I've used the day and night time caviar cream for a few years I love it.

NotMeNoNo · 29/11/2017 12:58

It's cheap enough to try any of it. I use the concealer, and the red/silver face creams, they are excellent IMO.

lovemylover · 03/12/2017 09:56

Aldis Caviar creams are lovely I use them and skin looks much better
Only about £6-99 each, cant go wrong

totaldiva · 03/12/2017 10:02

Just got the hot cloth cleanser this week and very impressed, exact dupe for Liz Earle. Going to go back today to stock up!

BroomstickOfLove · 03/12/2017 11:19

I have 4 boxes left over from the last time they had it!

retainertrainer · 03/12/2017 11:29

I loved the Aldi lacura range. Used it without complaint for many years but it's just not suiting my skin anymore. I ended up being really congested-lots of headless bumps under my skin. I've quit the lot now and it's much improved so by all means give it a go but look out for any negative changes.

MightyMunki · 03/12/2017 16:28

I picked up the expert day cream and night cream and serum after a work colleague recommended them. I’m liking them so far, the creams have a nice thickness to them which is what I was looking for.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/12/2017 17:24

I've tried several, they do make my eyes sting if I use it on my upper face and when my face perspires (flushes) it seems to get into my eyes. So ok for mid face to neck for me.
I bought the Advent Calender last year, little glass phials and about 4-5 tubes , still got some , they're good for travelling. (I don't know if they did one this year though)

There was a lovely one , sort of oceanic smell but I can't remember which one .

TeaAddict235 · 05/12/2017 18:36

I really like the red top cream, I think that it is the soy or rejuvenate cream. The serum is good too. But the blue lid night pot makes my skin sting and so it's too acidic for me.

I'd like to try the concealers but they're just too light. And I know that everyone will say "well it is a discount supermarket, if you want choice or a bigger range go to a more specialist shop", but why are the concealer ranges always so limited ??

ijustwantfiveminutespeace · 05/12/2017 19:24

Where in Aldi are these creams? I don't think I have ever noticed them????

NotMeNoNo · 05/12/2017 20:33

There are at least 3 colours of concealer if you dig. I've just found some Lacura BB cream I bought a few months ago too.

Regular make up is near the toiletries, toothpaste etc, sometimes there are extra items in the specials.
