Warm winter coat with hood no fur

Looking for something as in title but not fur around hood etc. Have had a look at down type coats but am size 14 and worried they may make me look bigger.

Fairly smart and about knee length or just above. Have a plain black coat at the moment which is ok but not overly warm but want something smarter than a walking type jacket.

Any recommendations please?

I've just got a Rab down coat and they are very flattering - mine is the thicker ascent jacket because I needed proper warm and waterproof for work. The slightly thinner more smart ones are showerproof though and lovely and warm.

They cost a bomb and other brands/variations are available but I found the cut of them really flattering - down isn't bulky at all so they really do fit well. I'm a 16-18 with big boobs too so to flatter my shape and be warm and practical is no mean feat!!

I've seen the slightly longer cut one in Go Outdoors but it's not as long as you want, it's top thigh length - Blacks had some other longer styled down coats though at the weekend when I was looking.

Thank you, will have a look but didn't want to spend too much and always worried that down will make me look bigger.

Think I will have a look at Uniqlo too.
