Eyeshadow for blue eyes!

Currently getting stocking fillers and heard great things about the Makeup Revolution Life on the Dancefloor palettes.

I'm set on getting one for my friend, she's in her mid 40s and has amazing blue eyes.
I have brown eyes myself and I'm a little clueless with things like this.

Which one would suit blue eyes best?

The third one, with lots of copper tones. These are opposite blue on the colour wheel so really make blue eyes pop.

Thank you , I think it's a lovely palette I'm half considering getting one of those for myself too!

What about for black hair, olive skin and brown eyes? Still the last or the first?

The last for blues eyes. I have blue eyes and only wear coppers, oranges and golds really. For brown eyes I would go with first that khaki green would suit brown eyes.

I've got bluish green eyes and wear either copper/gold or pinkish tones. They really do work well for blue eyes. For brown eyes green and navy both work well as do lilac/purple tones. So I agree the first pallette would probably suit you best.

Oh it depends what shade of blue! I have dark blue grey eyes and pale skin and coppers will not work on me. I'd go middle.

What is her skin tone? If she tans easily number 3.

I have darkish blue eyes and never wear copper tones. I’d prefer the first palate.

I also have dark blue eyes and would go for no. 1 at a push, but wouldn't wear many of the colours- mostly greens, lilac, purple, silver and occassionally a cool toned brown.

franktheskank · 28/11/2017 11:08

I’m a make up artist and the first would make blue pop the most, 3 has some nice orangey colours but they’re quite light.

Brown eyes can carry off most colours but a smoky eye always looks nicest on brown eyes.

FGSholdthedoor · 28/11/2017 15:25

Oh I'm a bit confused now... I'm a bit worried that the first has too many glittery shades she won't use.

She doesn't go out much so it would be more for every day or casual days out etc.

Definitely the first one as there are far too many oranges and reds in the third. The first one is more subtle and useful I think. What about the matte palette from MUR?
