reliable sources of palm-oil free soap?

I'm a soap convert thanks to MN (in fact twas me who started the whiffy armpit thread...)

I adore using soap and feel a million times fresher BUT I am struggling to find palm-oil free options.

I buy the sustainable palm-oil fruity ones from Body Shop but would like a palm-oil free alternative.

I did buy a couple of gorgeous big bars at TK Maxx that were palm-oil free but despite scouring the shelves regularly I haven't found any since and in fact most of their's, though lovely and 'natural' looking, still contain palm oil (and don't state that it's the sustainable kind) so I want to avoid them.

Any suggestions for where to start? I don't want to bankrupt myself but I am prepared to pay over the odds for palm-oil FREE soap, if it's out there...

Moogoo soaps are palm oil free and lovely and gentle moogooskincare.co.uk/milk-soap.html?dir=desc&order=name

I struggled with this too. Suma is a co operative and do a range of palm oil free soaps.
Also you can get just plain olive oil soap, unfragranced and very cheap. Have a look on ethical superstore for both.

Lush and Holland & Barratt both sell palm oil free ranges

Thanks everyone! Should have looked at H&B to start with... Moogoo sound fab, will have a look...

Didn't now lush were palm oil free... mind you I struggle with Lush, all the whacky names irritate me and even though I love a fruity fragrance they're a bit TOO fruity... Still, will have a look

You can make soap using coconut oil as the hard fat instead of palm oil.

BloomTown sell Palm oil free soap. I have been wanting to try their soaps and bath salts.
