Treating myself - Handbag or Watch?

I have just found out that come christmas time I will be coming into some extra money that I wasn't expecting through my work.

Not life changing amounts, and normally it would just go into the bank for a rainy day fund.

However, I am a new mother and haven't treated myself personally since before we started TTC, as any spare money went into savings to cover maternity leave and baby supplies. So a good few years.

I do need to allocate a few hundred towards new tyres for my car in the new year, but other than that I would like to maybe spend no more than £1k on myself. This should still leave me with around £2k to put into savings which will probably go on a family holiday next year.

Over the last few years I have had my eye on a specific handbag (a Coach Crosby), but this seems to have been discontinued and I can't find any for sale on their website or anywhere else.

I also really like the Tag Heuer Ceramic watches. If I went down this option I would buy pre-owned which would bring the price down from the usual RRP of £1850 to around £1k.

My only problem with both of these options is that being a new mother, I am mostly leaving the house with a changing bag, and no idea when that will change. I also have other Coach handbags, so it feels a little unimaginative to choose something from the same brand. Do people still rate Mulberry? I always dreamt of one when I was younger, but not too sure if they have had their day now too.

With the watch, I love the idea of buying something for myself that I can pass onto my child one day. Tag Heuer's aren't exactly a prestigious brand though, but I prefer their style over the more heirloom types such as Omegas.
I would generally keep it for special occasions as my day to day watch is an apple watch for activity tracking in an attempt to lose the baby weight.

I'm therefore a little stuck - watch or bag?
Can anyone suggest anything along these styles that I might not have considered?

I may be biased as I have a similar model watch and I love it. The design is quite striking and I do get more comments on this than with my other watches, it esp looks great with a biker jacket if you wear them.

Re bags I started using my own bags again once ds was potty trained at 2y8m so maybe hold off on a bag purchase until you have potty trained
