Selling used high end makeup?

Lovingtyrells · 27/11/2017 00:52

I have so much high end makeup and I really need to offload some. I have given some away to friends but have more that I could probably sell. It’s all been lightly used, is there anywhere that accepts it being sold second hand online ?

Ebay or Gumtree

OliviaBonas · 27/11/2017 01:22

Shpock app is fab

DullAndOld · 27/11/2017 01:29

sorry but it's skanky using someone else's make up esp a stranger.
You don't mean mascara and so on surely?
Cannot imagine anyone would want to buy it tbh.

ZacharyQuack · 27/11/2017 04:32

It's up to the buyer to decide what they think is skanky or not. I wouldn't sell second hand mascara or lipgloss, but you can sterilise powder products, pencils and lipsticks.

De pop is good for this kind of thing

Housewife2010 · 27/11/2017 05:06

I think it's gross but people do buy it. It's banned on eBay but there are FB selling groups for it.

wren23091 · 27/11/2017 06:11

I use Depop for this sort of thing quite often - I’ve got some Tarte stuff at a bargain, good way of testing your shades for foundation etc if you don’t want to pay full price and the brand isn’t sold locally/in the country!

MrsFoxPlus4 · 27/11/2017 06:25

Iv bought a few palettes that people have only swatched.

DarkNightDelight · 27/11/2017 06:28

Depop definitely

Lovingtyrells · 27/11/2017 12:18

Thanks for recommendations. It’s not really skanky as it’s mostly
Powders , blushes etc and foundations that you pump out. Even lipstick you can wipe the top off.

Mrs Gloss had a spin off selling group, they are no longer associates but it’s very well used within that Facebook group. I can’t remember the name of the group though so not at all helpful!

chipsandpeas · 27/11/2017 20:46

Ninjakittysmells the group your thinkint of it beauty sell and swap - ive sold a few things on it

stoplickingthetelly · 27/11/2017 21:40

Beauty swop and sell on Facebook is good. I've also successfully sold some bits on ebay.

BumWad · 27/11/2017 22:52

I don’t get why it’s gross

If you go to a make up counter and they do you up a lot of the make up has been used on others?

Same with if you have your make up done for a special event etc
