What to get my team for Xmas

I took over an all female team about 3 months ago. I always get my team members an individual something for Xmas. My team are all stylish and polished people ( I veer away from this which is why I post here to keep me on track). I've got 8 of them and can afford up to a tenner each. What would you like S&B wise for £10.00

OPI nail varnishes are about a tenner and lovely.

Gosh, what a lovely manager! I’d probably play it safe with wine/chocolates unless I knew them really well, or a lovely lunch out. Maybe one of those red Christmas plant things (begin with P, mine always die in about a week, but I know other people do better!). My manager has never even given me a card in almost ten years of this job, you sound so nice!

Dailystuck71 · 26/11/2017 22:31

How well do you know them? I know my team pretty well so it’s drink and cupcakes all round but for people I don’t really know I’d give a voucher for marks or similar.

Piggyinthemidriff · 26/11/2017 22:33

Poinsettia Judy 😀 although cactuses and flamingo themed items are apparently more on trend 😆

travailtotravel · 26/11/2017 22:40

We are having Xmas afternoon tea together but I'm charging that to the company!! Don't know them well personally. Want to avoid wine and chocs as I have pregnant, perpetual dieters, 2 living at home with mum and dad etc. I want it to look equitable though and they a recall preeners that love hair, make up, potions etc, hence trying zS&B ...

Nice hand cream? I also really like those hand masks (they have them in Sephora for about a fiver).

New make-up bag? Hema has some for only 3€ so you could put a lip balm and or mini hand cream inside too.

Littlelambpeep · 26/11/2017 22:44

The molton brown baubles seem popular on here and that sort of price.

Asda sell a champagne at that price also. I think I would like a voucher though.

Judydreamsofhorses · 26/11/2017 22:47

That’s the one, piggy!

What about a nice candle, OP? Or a gift card for Boots or John Lewis so they can pick something themselves?

Didiusfalco · 26/11/2017 22:49

I would get them these:
m.johnlewis.com/l'occitane-shea-butter-bauble-body-gift-set/p3306913
Have seen them in the shop and they look really nice and larger than expected. Think they do other scents too but haven’t had a proper look.

Judydreamsofhorses · 26/11/2017 22:49

Actually, thinking about it more, I think I would get a Lily Flame candle, which are about £8, and pop a lottery ticket in their cards.

HolgerDanske · 26/11/2017 22:50

I’d say nail varnish is a good bet if they’re all quite well turned out. Hand creams or other lotions/creams can be risky since lots of people are sensitive/allergic and also the preference for fragrance is a very personal thing. At this time of year I’d look for lovely deep winter colours. One good quality one is better than three cheapies. I’d be thrilled with a lovely navy/burgundy/moss green/mushroom/similar varnish that is beautifully wrapped.

NapQueen · 26/11/2017 22:52

A Molton Brown bauble each (boots 3 for 2 would bring them down to your price point).

CaseStudyResearch · 26/11/2017 23:11

Molton Brown baubles are a great shout, and currently £8 on John Lewis.

MadameJosephine · 26/11/2017 23:16

Last year out manager got us all a little gift bag with a mini bottle of wine, a small box of posh truffles and a small bottle of perfume from next, they went down very well

AmeliaFlashtart · 27/11/2017 00:22

Lucky dip is a good idea as they can then swap if they wish, ok each of the following is around a tenner I think;
Nuxe honey lip balm.
Small size L'occitane shea butter hand cream.
Liz Earle shampoo.
Tisserand hand creams.
Tisserand aromatherapy roller balls.
Bioderma sensibio cleansing water.
Ecotools travel makeup brush set.
Lush couple of slabs of nice soap.
Body shop clear wax lip liner.
Burts Bees tinted lip balms.
Etsy make up bags.
Etsy coin purses.
Lush bath bombs.
Tangle Teezer.
Neutrogena body oil.
Essie/ Opi clear or palest pink/peach/beige nail polish.

herecomesthsun · 27/11/2017 06:24

I would get 2 M and S advent calendars if they are still in the shops and do goodie bags with 6 items each in [likes a bargain]
