ive always worn make up but just the same boring things so am looking to get a few more bits and bobs. Please can anyone recommended their favourite-

Highlighter
Bronzer
Primer
Setting spray
Eyeshadow palette
Nude lipstick
False lashes (natural looking) for nights out

Any high end or budget suggestions welcome as when I've looked there's so many different ones I don't know where to start. Oh and I have oily/ spot prone skin that can be sensitive and quite sensitive eyes

Thanks in advance!

If you have oily skin, the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer is brilliant.

Don't bother with the full face one though. That can be a bit slimy by the end of the day. But the eye one is ace.

Following!

Let's see, for eyeshadow palette I use chanel quads or MAC. setting spray defo MAC, and bronzer I use bobbi brown shimmer bricks. I am quite pale so anything more pigmented looks bad on me.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 27/11/2017 17:57

Eyeshadow:

Urban Decay
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Too Faced
Huda Beauty

I use Benefit for bronzer.

Primer:
Smashbox
Max Factor
Too Faced

I love NYX setting spray.

Nude lipstick- MAC Velvet Teddy.

False lashes- Eyelure.

Have fun experimenting Smile

I like Chanel and Dior eyeshadows, Max Factor blushers, both the creams and the round cream puff ones, I like the Benefit Watts up highlighter, I can't recommend a nude lipstick as I'm not a lover of a nude. I use the Smashbox primer (clear one).

moonmaker · 27/11/2017 21:01

Highlighter- benefit high beam
Bronzer- benefit hoola
Primer- smashbox
Setting spray- urban decay
Eyeshadow palette - Chanel
Nude lipstick- mac creme de nude

Highlighter - Hourglass, any of them but the Ambient Lighting will always work miracles no matter the time of year/state of your skin. Charlotte Tilbury's Wonderglow always looks lovely mixed with foundation, as it gives a sort of "been on holiday but not got skin like leather" glow.

Bronzer - Benefit's Hoola or Chanel's Tan de Soleil

Primer - Estee Lauder Idealist (but I have oily skin and largish pores so can only really recommend based on that)

Setting spray - Urban Decay - any but especially All Nighter if you've oily skin like mine.

Eyeshadow palette - I love the ABH palettes but my all time favourite colours are Urban Decay's Naked 3

Nude lipstick - Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect with CT's Pink Venus liner

False lashes - Ardell

Highly recommend the Ambient Lighting Hourglass palette mentioned above. You get an all-over powder, highlighter and bronzer in one palette. Literally used mine every day since I bought it (on Depop). Also the Bobbi Brown glow sticks are very good. I've got Island which is peachy and is a fab highlighter and bronzer in one I suppose.

BigStripeyBastard · 27/11/2017 23:01

Primer, I like Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.
Eyeshadow, always Urban Decay...pallets or singles, can't go wrong.

BusterGonad · 28/11/2017 07:41

I've just used for the first time today By Terry Ombré Blackstar (cream eyeshadow stick) in Misty Rock (Rosey taupe sparkle) so far it's love at first sight!!!! ❤️

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 28/11/2017 07:47

Bars Via Appia eyeliner.

Beautiful bronze brown.

Missy450 · 28/11/2017 07:52

Becca highlighter I have heard good things about

SukiTheDog · 28/11/2017 07:54

Best concealer ever.... Clarin Eye Brightening Under Eye Concealer. Have tried others but have bought this 3 time’s running. I pray they never discontinue.

Primer... im currently trialing superdrugs naturally radiant instant radiance balm....the formula has improved and it gives me a glowy complexion
As a finish i use boots cucumber toner in a spritzer.....its cheap and cooling
Apart from that i stick to my faithfuls....simples age resisting moisturiser and face wash or wipes with avons youth max serum

Robyrollover · 13/12/2017 19:44

I'd recommend getting an eyelash tint and lift over false lashes
