Good old fashioned camisoles

Help I’m trying to find an old fashioned camisole for my mother, the type that can be worn under any top, aren’t all lace and sexy, made from a silky non clingy material. Does anyone know if such a thing exists anymore? I know she used to buy them from BHS years ago but everything these days is tight fitting and she doesn’t like them. Thanks for any inspiration!

Is this not the kind of thing M&S should be perfect for - disclaimer I haven't looked for them but it strikes me as the kind of thing their target market (if M&S were realistic) would want.
