That's it really. I need a top zip and loads of room but I'm not fussy as to whether it's leather or otherwise and open to colour suggestions (but probably black, tan or grey would be most practical).

If it's an everyday bag you're after, have a look at Kipling bags. They're very well made and do a great range of styles and colours.

I have found Amazon to be the best (and cheapest) place to look.

Longchamp Le Pliage are super-roomy and very strong. I've got an all black one (straps are black, as well) and I was carrying a big electric drill in it the other day. They're not especially slouchy though.

TK Maxx can be good for kipling, too.

Second longchamp le pliage. They are brilliant. They hold loads are super light and you can even pop them in the washing machine with no ill effects (even with leather handles. I love the Neo range which is more expensive). I have my small size orange neo long handle tote with me at work today. Love it.

If you like the style of the longchamp but not the Nylon how about the le cuir which is a full leather version of the le pliage. I have never seen one in use so they are not very common.
