This looks gorgeous! Is it worth splashing out for or is there a cheaper but just as good equivalent?

I’m interested in one of these. Most of the shades seem to be quite shimmery, and I’d prefer a few matte ones for everyday sort of wear. Naked Ultimate Basics seems to fit the bill.

ZacharyQuack · 27/11/2017 04:22

For a similar palette, but with a bit more shade variety and more mattes. try the Too Faced Chocolate Bar.

Naked Smoky and Heat both have more mattes, but it depends on what shades you like.

Thanks all you've convinced me! I've put the naked 2 on my Christmas list.
Thanks for the Too faced recommendation I may buy that for my sister in law for Christmas Smile

The Chocolate Bar palette ( too faced) gives a bigger sized portion of base colour which is a bonus!

Thanks to ShowMeTheElf on the Black Friday bargain thread....

Urban decay have most Naked Palettes with 30% discount for today only. Code GETNAKED Naked Palettes free delivery too so the total discount is more like 38%. I got Naked Palette 3 for just £27.65. Bargain.

purpleprincess24 · 27/11/2017 13:22

I have the Naked 2 and the smokey, love them both

I also have the Naked Basics which is great for taking away

Opheliasgoldenwine · 27/11/2017 15:46

Era I tried to do that for the Heat one but it wouldn't let me??

EraArils · 27/11/2017 17:13

Ophelia Just looked and it seems that the offer excludes Naked Heat

Opheliasgoldenwine · 27/11/2017 17:52

😩

Glittermakeseverythingbetter · 27/11/2017 19:25

I've got naked 2. I looked at tutorials and reviews on the different naked palettes on Youtube to help me decide which one to go for.

hashtagelfie · 27/11/2017 21:59

Just in case this helps anyone else - the 30% off stacks with 10% student discount via UNiDAYS and brings them down to £24 delivered

AlloAllloAllo · 27/11/2017 22:24

Ve y much worth it, brilliant pigments that last all day. Had mine for 12 months now, used almost daily. No colours down to metal yet

BigStripeyBastard · 27/11/2017 22:37

I've had the Naked 1 for about 3 years, use it daily and haven't hit pan on anything yet. Deffo value for money.

IslingtonLou · 28/11/2017 09:23

I have Naked 1,2,3, Heat and Basics 2

I would say the basics are pointless unless you have a fairly small eyeshadow collection, I never reach for mine. You’d be better off buying individual shadows for your crease/transition shades that are perfectly suited to you and that you can use with most of your eye looks. Much more versatile and worth your money

Naked 1 & 2 are outdated. They were trending in 2010-2012 ish and there are SO many better palettes on the market in 2017. They are a cult product of yesterday. Again, if you have a small collection and really want them....but I never use mine - they look virtually new and I have owned them for years. I have seen a lot of YouTubers/bloggers ‘declutter’ these palettes recently too

Naked 3 is my favourite out of the three, for the shades Limit and Nooner (very versatile, hard to dupe) and the shade Trick (Rose Gold, easy to dupe). I forever get complements on my makeup just from those 3 shades. I don’t touch the rest of the palette though.

Naked Heat is easily my favourite. Very on trend palette and better colour cohesion- I can see a lot of people using the whole palette as opposed to a few shades like the others. I would definitely buy this one if I was in the market.

I would go for ABH Modern Renaissance or Huda Beauty Desert Dusk over those though.

NewtsSuitcase · 28/11/2017 09:32

I love smokey but I am surprised at those who have used for years and are not down to metal. One of the reasons they are so lovely to use is that they are so soft which means they do wear down very quickly IME. I do wear eye makeup every day though.

lazyleo · 28/11/2017 09:35

I bought my second Naked 2 palette on Friday from debenhams when it was slightly discounted. I've had mine for about 2 years, love it and use it pretty much every day, but as always I've used some more than others so whilst its still about half full, my favourites are gone or nearly gone!

mintmagnummm · 28/11/2017 14:50

I just bought naked 1 from Debenhams. I wasn't even considering this one, I was torn between 2 and 3 but the urban decay lady said the 1 would compliment my colourings the best (even though I'm not necessarily warm toned!)
