Wide leg crop jeans/trousers

I love this style but finding it hard to find the right pair for me.

TOAST wide leg trousers are lovely but rather pricey.
Topshop ones were a little too cropped for me.

And what are people wearing foot wise with cropped trousers? Tis a bit nippy out there at the moment.

Foot wise the only sensible options at this time of year are sock boots, knee highs or brogues plus jazzy knee high socks (H&M have some that are all over Instagram).

I really like the Christophe Lemaire for Uniqlo front crease wide legs - so much so that I ended up buying all 3 colours Blush. They're not massively wide (I'm short so I have to be careful) and they're in a heavy cotton canvass so should be wearable all year round. They're towards the end of this page They keep selling out but if you stalk them, they're still getting returns. They're very generously sized so I would try on a couple if you can, or size down.

I also like the look of these from M&S although I haven't tried them on. They look ankle bone rather than calf length. I've seen them in plain pale grey too.

I'm a fan of Toast trousers and, if you hold your nerve, they can end up half price in the sales!

I've been wearing them with flats: brogues or, for a chunkier look, lace up Solovairs (similar to DM lace ups) with just a flash of sock (I like a bit of pattern or fishnet or glitter) but not a whole stretch of calf. Once the cold weather gets a grip, I'll probably just drop the look for few weeks as I can't get them to work with any of the boots I have at the moment and I'm reluctant to go out and buy more right now.

Will take a look Floisme, thanks, I am watching a pair of TOAST on eBay. Yes to flats, would be fine at work.

Thanks, forgot about Uniqlo.

This is a favourite of mine this year. I have Topshop and Warehouse trews, and wear crocheted or fishnet tights underneath for the gap, then either brogues or black Stan Smiths. I got a few pairs of coloured crocheted tights from ASOS which look good.

was going to say the Uniqlo ones too, I'm too fat for them :( but they did look good if you would fit in them. I imagine they look nice with some knee high boots. really 70s.

I have some wide leg velvet uniqlo trousers that are ace but not really warm enough to wear out and about
