Opaque tights without weird toes please

I have opaque tights but can only wear them with boots because they have those square/straight across toe seams that wrinkle up across the top of the foot when wearing with court shoes. Has anyone found any that don’t do this please? Or perhaps I have weird feet!

How about these, or would they annoy you?

Tuck the toes of the tights under your toes. It stops the bagging and is actually more comfortable than it sounds.

Perhaps opaque tights should only be worn with boots???

What an oddly aggressive post, did you mean to be rude?

OP I like to wear opaque tights with flats, and I also don't like the cheap squared off toes. I'd also like to find some which aren't hideously shiny. Watching with interest for helpful replies.

Try Primark boot tights for boots; they have a sock like foot. M&S do nice regular tights. I think the toe seam thing is to do with having narrow feet, so probably inescapable, but Marksies seem to be the best for me.

I suspect the flip-flop tights might show with low cut shoes pickley?

I’ve got fat feet Bobbin so I don’t think it’s anything to do with the width. Not keen on m&s opaques unfortunately but my regular opaques that I like (apart from the toes) are Primark so must have a look for the version for boots.

I have always liked M&S opaques before, I think they did used to have properly shaped toes rather than a straight across seam. And it also used to be possible to buy non shiny. Meh. I don't go in Primark, are they nice and stretchy and sag free?

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 25/11/2017 22:50

Wolford don’t do this. They are £££ but they will last you. They are the best tights & I live in opaques

Yeah I've got a pair of Wolford which my mum bought me for high school in 1997 and they are still going strong...!

Primark are surprisingly good tights.

Sound like I might have to splash the cash for Falke then. Thanks all.
