Jeans that suck you in/give a nice shape

I’m off out next week and I’m looking for jeans that suck you in. I’m a 14-16 with big hips and don’t want to spend a fortune.

I’m looking for jeans that give you a nice shape as I always feel like a frump next to my friends.

Any suggestions welcome!

Next 360 jeans. Sent by the gods. Make me look quite slinky (I'm not).

I second the next 360's. I feel fab in mine!!!

I must be the only person in the world who doesn’t like Next jeans?? I have a smaller waist with a tum and widish hips and have tried all of their styles and to get them fitting on the hips they are always always gaping at the waist. But yet everyone seems to adore those 360 ones.

I get on really well with Levi 721s. They’re not specifically designed to be ‘suck you in’ jeans, but the denim is nice and thick and they’re a solid build, which makes me feel held in. I’m a 14-16 hourglass.

Do the black Levis ones keep their colour well?

They do, Remus. I’m on my 2nd pair - replaced because of wear not colour fade

The only jeans I have found that fit well are the Matalan ones. I'm only a size 8 but I find it impossible to find ones that fit. They are usually tight around the arse and baggy around the legs. Stupid bloody matchstick legs

Thanks, Pies. Tried the dark skinnies on today (no black in my size) but they were far too long for me and I wasn't fond of the colour. Will keep my eye out for the black ones, because if they are really good and will last, I won't mind paying to get them taken up.

Topshop joni really hold my tummy in and give my bum great shape.

The Next 360 ones are fabulous and H&M do a shaping range that are almost as good.

Tried the Next ones and they didn’t suit, seemed to make me look boxy, although I’m not sure how.
Apparently Tesco do a good pair so I’m off to look there tomorrow.
