Worst Forehead Outbreak Ever!

PolkaDottyRose · 24/11/2017 22:11

I have the worst outbreak of forehead spots I have ever had, and I have a posh do a week from today. Have ordered some Effaclar Duo, can you suggest anything else that might help? Have stopped exfoliating and moisturizing it just in case it's that.

Get a fringe cut.

Glycolic acid.

cane and austin pads (glycolic and other acids)

and

benzoyl peroxide in the form of 'acnecide' - about a tenner behind the counter at boots. the wash and the cream ideally. go lightly with it but it will get rid of acne. GA will clear up the aftermath.

Oh, came to say Effaclar, it really works for teenage DD

Acnecede.
Be aware that it will bleach your pillow case and duvet cover.

I used to get this with certain hair sprays/mousse. I have a fringe though

Effaclar is fab

Second acnecide. Or panoxyl, whichever you can get
Apply a TINY bit at night and moisturise well after. It bleaches everything it touches!

The Ordinary salicylic acid (or possibly any salicylic product). Every time I get a spot I am awestruck to see it's more or less completely gone the next day. Am using their retinol product as well and it could be the combination.
