If you had the opportunity to buy a practically new mulberry black Bayswater with original receipt and packaging) for £500 would you do it?

I’m 98% sure it’s a solid decision but I could do with some reassurance.

It would be a Christmas present for me, from me. Grin

No as there’s too many good fakes out there with equally authentic looking receipts. If I was going to spend that much I’d buy a new one (which I did, on my gorgeous tan Bayswater!)

saz9382 · 23/11/2017 22:28

Yep go for it. I bought a preowned graphite one a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Treat yourself. Xx

ShirleyPhallus · 23/11/2017 22:29

Absolutely. I’ve used my Bayswater for years and it continues to get better with age. Just as long as you’re 100% sure it’s real.

Alternatively, you could buy a bench....

dancingqueen345 · 23/11/2017 22:31

I have absolutely no concerns about the authenticity. It is a fairly good friend who is selling it but who can’t be fussed with eBay/depop.

No, buy new (always a thrill). I am devoted to Longchamp and I got caught out with a fake..granted there was no receipt or packaging but it was bloody good, I even consulted Longchamp themselves. It wasn't £500 or anywhere near but I wouldn't use it after I knew. It went to the charity shop.

8pawsgood · 23/11/2017 22:36

£1000 new....mmm..I can see why it's tempting..Smile

ShirleyPhallus · 23/11/2017 22:40

Why is she selling it?

ZaraW · 24/11/2017 09:10

Yes I would. The prices now are ridiculous.

dancingqueen345 · 24/11/2017 09:30

She said it’s too boxy for her and makes her look stumpy...

If there were absolutely zero doubts on authenticity then I would!
I have a Bayswater and it's lovely but it is SO heavy with nothing in.

Mrs9C · 24/11/2017 10:22

Yes! Absolutely, go for it!

loobylou10 · 24/11/2017 10:24

Yes!

dancingqueen345 · 24/11/2017 15:13

Right you’ve all twisted my arm.. I’ll do it! Grin

chloechloe · 24/11/2017 16:05

Go for it seeing as you know it's authentic. I have two Bays and love them. But obviously a bench would be the better investment Grin

dancingqueen345 · 24/11/2017 16:28

I think I’m missing the joke re. the bench...?

OP posts:
chloechloe · 24/11/2017 16:57

Sorry! These threads where somebody intends to spend more than fifty pence on a bag usually attract replies that the money would be better spent elsewhere - on a holiday, a whole new wardrobe, a park bench...

Personally I'd rather have the handbag Smile

Dailystuck71 · 24/11/2017 18:23

Yes, I did. I don’t buy new mulberry ever. As long as you are 100% sure the. Go for it.
