what to wear with wide leg trousers???

aargh! i've bought a pair of navy, high waisted wide leg trousers- they do look good and are flattering (i think! ) ,

i have to wear flats, and have a lovely pair of dark red patent ballets, but just cant find a top-

dont suit slim fitting as am an egg shaped apple short-arse-with a double chin and a crepey neck/decolletage

size 16 ( just got down from an 18 yay!)

any suggestions from you style mavens?

Can anyone link the trousers? I searched Uniqlo but can't spot them. They sound great and as a fellow apple shaped woman, I love wide trousers and find they balance me out.

That jigsaw silk top is gorgeous, I'm afraid I'll have to get one of those!

If you don't suit a slim fit top get a more skim fitting but with a wide deep scoop or v neck. Another option could be a shirt or blouse type top with a tailored waist, again skimming not clinging. Don't wear a baggy top with wide legs!

I wore some of these to an event last week and wore a flowery shirt, got lots of compliments! So a shirt or casual thin v neck type top?

that esprit top is very similar, but too open at the neck for me, i have a somewhat lined decolletage unfortunately

Wore my Jigsaw top today and just wanted to say that although it's officially a crew neck the neckline is wider and deeper than that suggests so you get that flattering exposure of your clavicles.

i've ordered the jigsaw top, and one from asos- product number 6605917 -poles apart price wise, so might keep both if they suit thanks guys
