Never been to event like this ! I often wear vintage .
I saw a great velvet dress in boden but sold out .
I am early 50 s size 8 and struggle to wear any heel at all
I'm not keen on pale arms out and and slight hourglass
I don't suit black or burgundy
Or harsh colours
I best suit blue
Green
Green shades or sliver
I'd be willing to wear black !
Please can anyone style me ! I'm not usually a traditional
Go out dresser and I normally wear original 60 s dresses so am lost .
I don't have a clutch bag but I have a pair of pewter shoes which I'm sure I cd find a bag to tone in with .
I'm
Trying not to spend too much but I will consider anything up to £170
But I'd rather spend £40 !
Anything a bit unusual
Wd catch my eye ! Esp dresses based on retro ideas but modern nol original

Thanks !

I always lust after the Biba dresses in House of Fraser...they have that vintage but modern feel I think you might like?

Love the sleeves on this one, and the cut would show off your hourglass shape www.houseoffraser.co.uk/women/biba-velvet-long-sleeve-batwing-dress/d814368.pd#272369561

Would your pewter shoes go with this? www.houseoffraser.co.uk/women/white-stuff-midnight-shimmer-dress/d858586.pd#271773806
