Long term lurker on the S&B board but first post, so hello Smile

I think I understand the bra intervention method but, as I am squidgy of torso, I'm not sure how tight I should measure? And I'm also a bit confused about sister sizing? so after yet another unsuccessful bra buying trip please, please can anyone help or am I after the impossible?

My underbust measures 37" and my on bust 46" what would be a good starting point please?

I’m not the best at this but I’m getting a 36G

But you may be better with a 38 back then you just try sizing around there see what fits best

Thanks for the reply Uptownfuckuup
Do you know if I go to a 38" back would I be a F or an FF, this is where I get confused.
I have been trying to find a comfortable bra for months now and I just can't seem to get it right!

If you go up a back size then you go down a cup size so sister sizes would be 36G, 38FF, 40F. Etc. I'd try a 36 back with a variety of cup sizes first e.g 36F/FF/G/GG

Is the bra intervention method the boob or bust method? If it’s not definitely have a google and use the calculator on their website. For that one it’s pulling the tape measure so tight you think it might snap Smile

I think that part of my problem is the shape of my boobs! Especially at the size I now seem to be.
Some of the bras I've tried recently are either classed as 'minimisers' which I don't want - I actually quite like my boobs - or come up so high that they can be seen under my favoured wrap tops & v necks. I can't wear high necks, I'm not that tall and have a short neck, I look like an American footballer in them. I also don't want any additional padding or push up. I just want a comfortable, supportive, pretty bra!

Don't get me started on the ones that make me look like I have two separate cones pointing in different directions.

Sigh, it used to be much easier I'm sure.
