DH has been wearing black leather sketchers for ten years but is finding they are falling apart quickly and are not that comfortable. He also can’t find them cheaply and it seems a bit of an expensive exercise for shoes that are a bit crap quality and not even very ‘cool’.
Anyway.
What shop or brand could he look for instead? I’m helping 
. So something a bit like converse but with a slightly bouncier sole and also leather/suede so roughly rain proof.
He’s been wearing things like these two pics. I think the black ones are a bit terrible and would hope to find something a bit nicer. He doesn’t massively mind and is happy for me to find him some suggestions.
