I have crazy frizzy curly hair that’s thick. My straighteners are dying but I don’t know which new ones to get? I know some people have said GHDs aren’t as good as they used to be so which are best now?

no recommendations sorry - watching with interest as DD wants some straighteners for xmas.

Yeah, avoid the GHds. They just aren't as good. The Cloud 9s are getting great reviews.

I think GHDs had the edge 20 years ago when the technology was new. Not so much now. I had GHDs when they first came out.

These days I wouldn't spend GHD money, I currently have these - two years old and would recommend them.

Tbh ghd 4s/5s are fine. I’m not a fan of the Platinum styler as the plates are so thick do it’s hard to straighten kinks near the root of you have curly hair

Rowenta/L'Oréal Steampod is brilliant.

Thank you! I’ll get researching the ones you’ve suggested
